These are wildflowers I found just off the road and chose to paint  as part of my "Beauty with a Blade" seires.
 
The painting was created with oil paint and a palette knife.
 
With funds from the Arrowhead Regional Arts Council, I was awarded the NEA-ARP Working Artist Grant to complete this painting and two others. 
 
This painting is ready to hang.
